On Wednesday, November 16th at 7pm the South Jersey Poets Collective welcomes Edwin Romond as featured reader to World Above Free Poetry Night at Stockton University’s Dante Hall Theater (14 N Mississippi Ave., Atlantic City, NJ 08401).
The evening starts with the usual Open Mic, where participants read one poem that is less than two minutes long. The break will occur just before 8pm, and participants will return to a free take-home writing prompt, introduced by the host or the prompt’s author. Then, featured poet Edwin Romond will read.
Edwin Romond is the author of eight collections of poetry and has been awarded fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts and from both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania State Councils on the Arts.
