I am thrilled to share that The Outlast Project will be coming to Stockton’s Dante Hall (14 N. Mississippi Ave., Atlantic City, NJ 08401) on Wednesday, May 4th from 6:00pm–9:00pm. The event is free and open to the public.
If you are unfamiliar with this project, The Outlast Project is a cathartic poetry event & interactive healing art project designed to empower survivors of sexual assault.
During their cross-country journey, The Outlast Recovery Squad, led by poet, activist, and mental health advocate Rachel McKibbens, performs their original work and then offers an interactive art/writing workshop, helping give voice to survivors of sexual assault.
I hope that you will share this with your friends and colleagues, as well as with community organizations who support survivors of sexual assault.
A special thank you to a private donor, the School of General Studies, Dante Hall Theater, and Stockton University’s Provost’s Office for making this event possible.
