On Wednesday, March 23rd at 7pm the South Jersey Poets Collective welcomes Diane Sahms-Guarnieri and g emil reutter as featured readers to World Above Free Poetry Night at Stockton University’s Dante Hall.

The evening starts with the usual Open Mic, where participants read one poem that is less than two minutes long. The break will occur just before 8pm, and participants will return to a free take-home writing prompt, introduced by the host or the prompt’s author. Then, featured poets Diane Sahms-Guarnieri and g emil reutter will read.

Diane Sahms-Guarnieri, a native Philadelphian, is the author of three full-length poetry collections: Images of Being (Stone Garden Publishing, 2011); Light’s Battered Edge (Anaphora Literary Press, 2015); and Night Sweat (Red Dashboard Press, 2016). She was awarded a grant in poetry from the AEV Foundation in 2013; served as Poet in Residence at Ryerss Museum and Library, (2013-2015): and as Poetry Editor of the Fox Chase Review (2008 – 2015). g emil reutter lives and writes in the Fox Chase neighborhood of Philadelphia, PA. He has been published widely in the small and electronic press. Ten collections of his poetry and fiction have been published, his latest, From the Valley—Poems will be released in April of 2016. He can be found at https://gereutter.wordpress.com/about/.
