Nancy Reddy is the author of Double Jinx (Milkweed Editions, 2015), selected by Alex Lemon for the 2014 National Poetry Series. Her poems have appeared in Fail BetterTupelo Quarterly32 PoemsSmartish Pace, and elsewhere. Her work has also been featured in Poetry DailyVerse DailyBest of the Net, and Best New Poets. She grew up in Pittsburgh and taught high school English in New Orleans and Houston before moving to Madison, Wisconsin for graduate school. She is now Assistant Professor of Writing and First Year Studies at Stockton University.


On Wednesday, December 16th at 7pm the South Jersey Poets Collective welcomes Nancy Reddy as featured reader to World Above Free Poetry Night at Dante Hall (14 N. Mississippi Ave., Atlantic City, NJ 08401).

The evening starts with the usual Open Mic, where participants read one poem that is less than two minutes long. The break will occur just before 8pm, and participants will return to a free take-home writing prompt, introduced by the host or the prompt’s author. Then, featured poet Nancy Reddy will read.
